Hello there!!!!

This is a protest to the University of Melbourne's Electrical Department.

I am doing this site to protest and tell any interested party about the inhumane
lecturers in the University of Melbourne's Engineering faculty. Not only do they
expect students to be know it all, the time allocated for projects and assignments
are not enough. Yet they still expect it to be completed and I believe most lecturers
are enjoying since all projects are given out during the same week and due at around
one day after the other.

If this wasn't enough, the amount of materials covered are nearly impossible to be absorbed into the
student's mind. Furthermore, the amount of materials are not proportional to the marks allocated for
certain parts.

However, the worst part is the attitudes of most lecturers in University of Melbourne's Engineering
department. expecting much from students is fine, but they have failed to cater to those who are actually
struggling throughout the course. Help and support are rarely available even during allocated consultation
time.

According to some students, lecturers basically don't care about their student's welfare and only seek to
get feedback directly from presentations and projects. Without help and guidance, how are students able to
understand the project and hence increase their knowledge?? Some even pointed out that lecturers are more interested
in participating in researches since this is where the money is coming in to the University.

One of the big rumor was some lecturers were either sent away or asked to transfer because they aren't good researchers,
hence the inability to secure grants and funds from commercial companies as well as the government. And usually those who
aren't good at researching are good at teaching and vice versa.

I'll talk so much for today and wil try to add more in future. Those who are interested in life in Melbourne University,
